If you haven’t given your steak a good rub down with ground coffee, now’s the time to give it a try.

Nothing beats the rich, crunchy texture of coffee grounds to make a meat rub that's healthy AND mouth-wateringly delicious.

This is one of Ben’s favorite meat rub recipes, and it comes straight out of the new Boundless Cookbook. This recipe is easy, delicious, and sure to satisfy at your next BBQ—or elevate tomorrow morning's steak and eggs if you just can't wait.

All you have to do is combine these 4 simple ingredients, lay it on your favorite steak (try this recipe with chicken or fish, too) and enjoy your favorite cut of meat with a smoky, savory, and out-of-this-world flavor.

Ingredients

  • 4 parts organic Kion Ground Coffee (just enough to cover the meat with a thin layer)
  • 1 part salt (black salt works, but Celtic and Colima salt offer an even crunchier texture)
  • 1 part Ceylon cinnamon
  • Cayenne, to taste

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine the ingredients above. Let sit for 40 minutes or up to overnight. Grill, roast, or cook the meat to your liking.

Try organic Kion Ground Coffee for your savory and smoky steak rub.
